Engineering/Design Project Management Position with SGE

SGE is growing!

We are currently hiring for a Design Project Manager to join our team.

Design Project Manager

SGE Consulting Engineers is looking for dedicated, hard-working teammembers with an engineering, architecture, or construction background to join our growing firm.

Professional project management experience is not a requirement for this position! We provide complete professional development so that candidates need only their design/construction background and extra-curricular project management experience to lead projects from the very beginning through issuance of construction permits.

A successful candidate will become an integral contributing member of our tight-knit team, working on challenging and rewarding projects, varying in size from small to large multi-million dollar ventures. A successful project manager would also have the opportunity to help define, develop, and lead the Design Management Division at SGE.

These positions will start as a summer internship position and may end up as a year-round student engineering intern.

  • Conduct local site visits with client and consultants

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Uphold SGE's reputation for excellent service by meeting client needs in a timely manner

  • Actively contribute to further developing the company's Design Management Division

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering or Architecture

  • Technical (engineering, design, or construction) background

  • Demonstrated project management & leadership skills (clubs, organizations, etc. and/or professional experience)

  • Ability to build reliable relationships while managing expectations and ensuring accountability

  • Meticulous attention to detail
