In response to the developing situation of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we shall continue to monitor the situation with the University and the California State University (CSU) along with state and federal officials. Under the current direction and instruction from both campus administration at Cal Poly Pomona and the CSU, there are several immediate actions we must take for our spring semester events. ASCE is committed to protecting the health and safety of our members and event participants.
Under current directives from the University, ASCE Student Chapter advisors and officers are working with campus administration to assess the feasibility of various Spring Semester Events. In response to the developing situation of the coronavirus (COVID-19), CPP ASCE Student Chapter has postponed, canceled, undetermined or planned to be host events alternatively for your safety. We understand that this comes at a time especially important to our students and events that make our student chapter successful. We sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause due to event cancellations or rescheduling.
All events have been given one of the following status classifications:
Alternative Host Method: Will be attended/hosted using conference call
Postponed: Actively working to reschedule to next most convenient date
Canceled: Event/Program canceled due to being deemed “Non-Essential Gathering” by the CSU
