The Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC) Foundation invites you to submit an entry for the 2020 SEAOSC Foundation Scholarships to be presented at the 2020 SEAOSC Student Scholarships Awards Night and Career Fair held on February 5, 2020. All civil/structural engineering students and faculty are invited to attend the event free of charge as guests of SEAOSC. The Career Fair features prominent structural engineering and industry companies from Southern California and is followed by the Scholarship Dinner where scholarship awardees will be announced. Recipients are required to attend the event in order to receive their awards, however exceptions may be considered by the SEAOSC Foundation.
Criteria for the scholarship award is based on excellence in both academics and leadership with the desire to pursue a career in structural engineering. All undergraduate students enrolled full time in a structural engineering program at an accredited college or university who wish to be considered for a scholarship must submit the following information by January 8, 2020.
– A statement of purpose for your future career in structural engineering (two pages maximum);
– A resume of relevant job experience (if applicable), achievements, and activities;
– An unofficial transcript;
– A letter of recommendation from an engineering professor.
